HISTORY
Greene Room Productions: Theatre Production and Educational Outreach Inc. was founded by Erin Greene in the spring of 2006. A $10,000 donation from a
local theatre enthusiast, along with the dream of a year-round theatre production and educational outreach company. Recruiting locals as actors, set and
costume craftsmen, and musicians Greene Room Productions embarked upon an exciting adventure that many local children and adults have benefited year after
year since.
TODAY
What was once a sole proprietorship, Greene Room Productions now exists as a non-profit theatre company, creating opportunity for local children and adults.
This year Greene Room Productions will produce 2 main stage shows, 2 "Kids Tour" shows, and a variety of shorter plays geared toward young audiences, along
with a newly organized improv troupe titled G.R.I.P. (Greene Room Improv Players). Every year GRP hopes to develop its programs to include a wider variety of
the population and to supplement arts programs in the public education system. Goals for the future include acquiring a production facility in which Greene Room
can call home, providing more educational workshops, hiring creative and administrative staff, creating a variety of performance experiences for local actors, and
developing an environment in which musicians, actors, and artists can work cohesively to accomplish big ideas.
WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?
1. VOLUNTEER
Greene Room Productions is a volunteer-based organization. Volunteers are the backbone of the Theatre and have helped make Greene Room Productions
what it is today. You are invited to become one of our many volunteers in one or more areas. GRP has a vast number of volunteer
opportunities. From acting to ushering, we have needs which can take up as little or as much of your time as you wish. So fill your leisure time with fun — and treat
yourself to a new experience. Please let us know what you are interested in and we will put you to work! To contact our volunteer coordinator please

2. BECOME A FRIEND
Greene Room Productions, at this time, is funded mainly through patron donations, business sponsorships, and ticket sales. Support your local theatre company,
children, and community by becoming a friend of GRP. Please click on the link below to view our fundraising pamphlet and opportunities. If you have "in-kind"
